539 - Heading For the Light

There is a hallway in Josefstädter Straße, in Vienna’s 8th district, and sometimes, when the door from the street is open, you can see it, see all the way down, see this wonderful light. This is the image for Friday, taken with the Nikon 18-200 VR.

The Song of the Day is “Heading For The Light” from the first Traveling Wilburys album. Hear it on YouTube.

EDIT: I have uploaded a new version of this image. The old one was too bluish in the center part. It was ugly. I guess this one is not 🙂

If you really, really must have it: here is the old version. Honestly, I must have been blind.

Hmmmm..... another tunnel. This one also reddish lined but even shinier. I like this, liked #536 even more. Great set and in fact I wonder if maybe I'm the guy who needs an appointment with a Viennese shrink?

Seriously, you and Craig Tanner just now are really investigating the ancient and powerful mystery of the tunnel.. and you are doing it with clout.

Thanks. Fact is that I was entirely unsatisfied with this image, and that I have replaced it with a new version. I guess now it's OK.
