1730 - Skip The Gutter

I am on the train to Carinthia again and this is an image that I took in the morning.

Letting three lines go through three corners is no problem, once you’ve understood it, it is really easy. Not so with four lines and four corners though. If you think of it, this is related to why tripods are so stable and quadropods are … not.

The Song of the Day is “Skip The Gutter” by Louis Armstrong And His Hot Five. Hear it on YouTube.

Impressive balancing! Are these yellow petals from flowers or leaves turned yellow?

Leaves. It shouldn't be that time of the year, but maybe they don't know 😄

Spilled curry rice... kind of a strong metaphor for excess food in our regions going down the drain. The cross feels like the statement of the photographer against that waste... cheers ®

In a recent workshop we had a series of assignments related to sidewalks. How I wish I'd had something as wonderful as this to present! Love the feeling of (movement and) being off balance while looking down.

Well, shot this in the courtyard while bringing down the garbage. Sorry for being unromantic 😄
