Here’s another post with autumnal impressions collected during the last weeks.
The Image of the Day is interesting, because I’ve come to that tree at exactly the right day. One side, that exposed to the wind, had already been devoid of leaves, the other side was still in full color.
This will hardly have been the first time in my life that I saw such a phenomenon, but at least I can’t remember any other occasion.

Very interesting photo. At first I though it was a composite of two images taken on different days, but to capture this look and the nice complementary colors in one shot is impressive.
