Villach’s river promenade is a fine place to take photographs when it’s winter and you’re in desperate need of images. You’ve got some mildly interesting modern architecture, a river, people, swans, sometimes a riverboat, and if nothing else works, there are always the reflections 🙂

Sorry, it took me some time to see the comment. They should be forwarded as emails, but seemingly my blog's software or configuration is rotting away 🙂 Thanks! As to the lens' color rendering, well, forget about it. Colors in my images are always what I see fit. I practically never post unedited images, and editing in my case always means maximizing use of the histogram. This is bound to completely change colors. In a later step I then re-balance the colors. The influence of the lens is negligible 😄

That's a lovely image. The colours are beautiful and I particularly like the figure in lower right of the frame. The orange clothing forms a symmetry with the orange coloured blind in one of the windows. I see you are using the 45mm f1.8, which is also my favourite lens. It definitely has a unique colour rendering.
