898 - Wet Questions

I’m back on the train from Carinthia to Vienna now. It pours like mad outside, even worse than it did the rest of the day 🙂

These two images were shot early in the afternoon. I figured that the raindrops on the movable blinds of the balcony, along with some heavily out of focus background, could probably save me from having to go out.

After two weeks of frantic work on toxic code, I’m terribly behind with blog reading. Sorry if I didn’t turn up at your blog in a long time, currently I have a backlog of 726 unread posts in Google Reader. I can’t help it at the moment.

Huh, now that I think of it, these images make a rather claustrophobic impression, but don’t worry, I’m absolutly fine. Short on time, but fine 🙂

The Song of the Day is “Wet Questions” from Keziah Jones’ 2003 album “Black Orpheus”. Deezer has it for you.

A lovely, warm, and evocative image.

Well seen, well captured, and well done!

A welcome change from the sad and lonely bikes.

I was going to comment on the beautiful colors despite the rainy weather, but then the comment on sad and lonely bikes derailed me.

I haven't felt that the bicycles are lonely, but perhaps some of them are. What I have usually felt is that they are patiently waiting to be on the way again, or deep in thoughts looking at the surroundings.

I'm still derailed and not able to explain this too well... The comment changed my wordview (well, a little bit).
