1688 - Hintn Umi

“Hintn umi” is not German, it’s Upper Austrian dialect. It means “hinten herum”, directly translated “around on the backside”, and it actually means kind of sneaky, stealthy, perfidious, deceitful and treacherous behavior.

The Song of the Day is “hintn umi” from Attwenger’s 2011 album “FLUX”. See the official video on YouTube.
