2112 - Deep Forest II

I don’t exactly know why, but this image made trouble. I tried to process it in Lightroom only, but after two attempts I gave up, took my best version over to Photoshop and finished it there. Sometimes choice is fine 🙂

The Song of the Day is “Deep Forest” by Earl “Fatha” Hines. I have it on disc 77 and disc 136 of “The Ultimate Jazz Archive”, a great collection of 168 CDs full of classic Jazz. I got it for 99€ some years ago, and now I see it from an Amazon Marketplace dealers for $398.99. Oh well 🙂

To add to the other comments - looks like some beetle or caterpillar has made a meal of one of those leaves.

Actually there's a story to this image. This place is near where we lived for 20 years, a little remote from Villach where we live now, but every once in a while, mostly when I see the doctor (who didn't move with us), I pass by. The last times I had always left the SD card in the reader and didn't have a spare card with me. That never happens to me, obviously only when I am in this place. This time, upon third attempt, I managed to get the picture 🙂
