I didn’t know about Jacarandá trees and when I sat in their shadow on Largo do Carmo, I didn’t even recognize them. In any case: it was the wrong season.
If you want to see the surreal purple blossoms of the Jacarandá in Lisbon, the last week in May or the first of June are the right time. Next time.
Nevertheless, the bacalhau was excellent 🙂
