Well, I guess we can agree that this building is slightly too luxurious for an order, that has in its beginnings so strongly criticized the Church for its riches 🙂
On the other hand, seeing this image, writing this blog and at the same time hearing Charpentier, interpreted by Les Arts Florissants, that’s quite in line 😄
