Maybe you could as well call this fountain slightly overdecorated, but “Beautiful Fountain” is what they call it 🙂
When I was there, I thought it was made of painted wood, but as far as I can see in details of my images, this fountain has been sculpted from stone.
Of course the paint must be a nightmare to maintain, but this is how the decoration in old churches should be imagined. Most interior sculptures have been painted once. To see painted sculptures outside must have been be an exception at all times though.
